Description of V7AM Bimetal Thermostat
V7AM is an excess-current thermal protector with compact design.
The product has many advantages such as compact, big in contact
capacity, sensitive in action, long life and so on.
Features of V7AM Thermostat
1. V7AM is relative compact designed and is operated with "Snap
Action"
2. V7AM can reset automatically after tripping off.
3. Short circuit caused by contacting metal parts can be eliminated
by leading wire with insulation sleeve 4. Length and leads type is
optional.

Construction of Electric Blanket V7AM Thermostat
1.TYPE
Single pole single throw type thermostat, with disk bimetal.
2.APPEARANCE.
The thermostat shall be free from any stain ,crack, rust,and dirt
etc.
3.TERMINAL STRENGTH
The terminals shall be able to withstand a static axial load of 6
KGs for 5 seconds.(The pull direction of Right Drawing )

Thermostat
1.OPERATING TEMPERATURE
Measurement shall be made with the temperature increasing or
decreasing rate of 1℃/2 minutes at air speed of 1 to 2 meter per
second in an air circulating chamber. Test current shall be under
200 mA .A electronic thermometer shall be used to measure
temperature.
2. INSULATION RESISTANCE
Insulation resistance between live meter parts and dead meter parts
shall be more than100 Mohm measured with a DC 500V megohmmeter.
3.DIELECTRIC WITHSTAND
The thermostat shall be able to withstand a potential of AC 550V
for 1 second at 50 or 60 HZ, without suffering any dielectric
breakdown between live and dead meter parts.
4. INSULATION SPACING
To comply with UL/VDE standard.
5.CIRCUIT RESISTANCE
The resistance between both terminals shall be less 50 mohm with DC
5V 0.25A milliohmmeter.
6.TEMPERATURE RISES OF CONTACT
Temperature rise of contact shall be under 40℃ with thermocouple
method ,after contact temperature is stabilized at rated current.
